Journey’s New Front Man Arnel Pineda ~ Same Sound, New Sound
Yes, that title is weird I know. But here is the thing, give a listen to this guy’s pipes and then tell me you do not hear Steve Perry:
And yet, his voice is his own. I am just glad that I get to have the chance to go to a Journey show, finally! I of course, miss Perry but that wont stop me from enjoying a great band and a great show.
What do you think about this new lead for the band? Like or dislike. Have you been to the show , what did you think?
My inspiration for tonights post is Melodic Rock Concerts who posted some awesome photos of the show near him, so please check out this great blog! Also give a look at this bloggers flickr page for amazing photographs.
And as always, please take a moment to visit the Artist Web Site, and trust me with Journey you wont be disappointed. Journey

I just saw the show last month! It was fantastic. I loved Arnel. I wasn’t sure before I went but he was perfect. Enough like Steve and sometimes a bit stronger and more powerful; yet, as you said, his own sound. Like I said, it was a fantastic show.
I sort of gave up on Journey after Perry left. Maybe I should give ‘em another listen?
So, weird but yeah, that Arnel guy does sound kinda like Steve Perry here and there.
Hello Vixen, Carol
Awesome to see you here
and thank you for the comments.
Yep, he really does sound like Perry,it was a bit strange to hear at first. The few clips I have posted and viewed on Utube get my vote for great comeback band.

I just wanted to tell you, I found you while dropping on EC and stayed because…well I grew up in Santa Clara listening to KOME. I was telling my husband about this site and he says I need to go to the storage shed and take a picture of my roller skates suitcase that has an original KOME sticker on it still. (Why do I keep these things?)
