I have posted here a few times today, trying to make up for some lost time. I bet you have noticed that huh? I do not have as much free time as I used to have, I have been a full time blogger now for over two years, and I have to say it might just be kicking my butt.
I love to write, don’t get me wrong but the push to produce is hard. I have three main blog’s that require my attention each day along with my kids and my home. It is getting really hard to do this, and I really want a break.
I would love to go some where warm, sunny. I have never been one to want the Island romantic vacationsbut lately it is sounding better and better. It is so freaking funny how I find music. Last night Queen of the Damned was on, and when Lestat was on stage singing I fell in love with the sound I was hearing. * no, I had not ever watched this movie, weird since I am a Vampire Love Story freak* so I asked my 18 year old, who is that? My 14 yr answered Korn. I was amazed, it was as if I were hearing music again!
That may not make sense, but as I have said in other posts I bemoan the lack of ‘my’ style of sound from the late 80’s and 90’s. So finding Korn …wow.
So today I went to the Official Korn site and found the sweetest Song ~ Evolution. The video is a smack in the face of so much we live now, I loved it instantly. I almost felt that old surge of feeling I felt the first time I hear Linkin Park or Metallica.
Now you need to see this scene properly, here I am sitting at my desk writing this and head banging to Coming Undone ( which I might add, I have loved for a while and DID NOT know it was Korn) with my granny glasses on. Then 18 said, oh no… Mom has new Angry music. *sigh*
