All forms of artistic talent are important.
This blog is primarily for recording memories of the Rock Radio Station 98.5 KOME which was on air in the Bay Area from the 70′s to the mid 90′s. Rock music is one form of artistic expression and there are so many more expressions of art in our world from Photography to Painting to Poetry.
Our children today, in my opinion suffer a severe lack of places in which to properly express their artistic talents. The schools are over burdened with tests and a total lack of money so the artistic classes, music and such really are being left out. This is a terrible thing for our children.
A child who has a place to express what ever talents he or she possess grows into secure people, people who are better able to function in society, and that is what we all want right?
