(Here in the Midwest, though, we consider WHA-AM in Madison, Wisconsin--flagship of Wisconsin Public Radio--to be the nation's oldest radio station, beginning Morse-code transmissions as 9XM in 1916; the WHA call was assigned in 1922.) And would you remember when the long-running comic strip <a href="http://www.snoopy.com/" rel="nofollow"><b><i>Peanuts</a></b></i> occasionally had Snoopy's doghouse becoming a Sopwith Camel in endless pursuit of The Red Baron?
