I was really excited today when I saw that I was being followed on Twitter by Mark Carras. Why excited? Well I had no idea who he was until I clicked his link on his Twitter page and once at his website got an idea of what he is about. He is about Rock, rock for the masses in an informational way. How does he do this? He gives us a chance to get the hell off Digg.com where you can search for eons for diggs about Rock and find very little ( for example my Interview with James of Virtual Zeppelin went no where and I think it was personal . Now we can use his site called Heavy as Hell and do basically the same thing as what is done at Digg but its all music orientated. I like this idea very much, it will help the newer bands get some publicity and also help those of us who are searching out the great story to find it easy as pie.

I love combos, bacon and eggs, rum and beer, fires and Frostys ( yes, fries and a Frosty, what you have never tried it? Its awesome so shut up until ya try it ) anyway there is a new combo to love and it comes from Pepsi – Footvolley.

Go on over to Pepsi Footballand play a few rounds on the computer, its sort of addictive so be careful if you are at work. This game is a combo of Volley ball and Football, and while I am as coordinated as a two legged cow I even got into playing it on the PC.

In the game you can be a few different players, Cesc Fábregas, Thierry Henry ( my favorite name from French Class Frank Lampard and other players. All the players have been given the same skills they possess in real life for the game and the graphics are not bad at all for a video on the computer.

This is a pretty cool game that I thinK I will keep practicing at and I suggest you check it out as well!

Blazy and Bobs show this am, very very good. I got to hear my Zeppelin finally and that was followed by Hot For Teacher, one of the most energetic Van Halen songs they ever did I have to say that listening to Bob-FM is far more fun than the ‘other’ station I was listening to online from the Bay Area and that is only due to the lively pair of DJs Blazy and Bob.

The Landlord

By now you all know I am a total freak about the ‘old’ style rock, the rock we had in our youth in the 80′s, that will always be true of me. I also love anything vintage rock including clothing so when I was introduced to these clothes for out little rockers I was thrilled. I remember taking my kids when they were small and dressing them just like we dressed , that may have been detrimental to their growing up you will have to ask them, but I loved having my babies look like little rock stars.

Now you can cloth your little rocker in some wonderful vintage style clothing. I still have two that are young and they checked these clothes out and said big thumbs up. I found these shorts from joe’s jeans for kidsthat my boys love and I think you will love them as well:

Now not only are these clothes vintage rock and very cool, they are easy on the wallet with prices that are comparable to or less than your local stores but with far more style. Great show today Blazy and Bob ~ especially loved today’s Blues News. I have to say that those two chicks in Florida at the Walmart… we have them beat here in Kentucky. Do you know how many people go into our banks here , rob them and use like their checks, their OWN checks for the note? Or leave their drivers lic at the counter? And I got one better for ya, the Duct Tape Bandit, that one was SWEET.

Have you seen the all new Blazy and Bob Show website? It was redone I am guessing either late yesterday or today. Really chock full of all the information you could possibly need on Blazy and Bob. They have a few new stations beyond BOB -FM:

Today’s play list was great… almost a whole morning of great 80′s stuff , it was a nice present. I had not heard Dance Hall Days for SO long, who does not love Wang Chung?????? And a nice switch over to Nickleback. That is one band I intend to do and soon, have always loved Chad Kroegers voice.

The guys said that good old Bret Micheal will be going to the Sonoma County fair, you should check that out~

So today I will be rocking out, working as normal and getting through this day best I can. I know I am not supposed to be upset at the number but its still a bit hard to look at it on paper and not freak out. It seems like yesterday that I was in High School over at Marion A Peterson in Sunnyvale, listening to great music on the radio and cruising the El Camino on Friday nights.

It is okay, I am maintaining….
