So, what were some of the songs I heard? Back on the Chain Gang by The Pretenders, Soul Aslyum Runaway Train ( good song, sounds a bit like Petty to me) BTO Taking Care of Business, holy smokes this was one record I think I killed playing as a kid. Great website too, BTOROCKS I think I had better get my butt to completing the Artist Page I have. Next up we had Hot For Teacher Van Halen. It was too darned early for me to turn on my full sized speakers that I have attached to my PC, yeah… I had to have em. My DH hooked em up so I can be obnoxious on a loud scale lol. Nope, I have not grown up yet, and don’t freaking plan to. Its hilarious that my 18 year old keeps yelling at me to turn my music down! So this will be my video for this post , enjoy :

Well Rock Fans, I am going to get to my ‘other’ work now but I will leave the show running. Imagine not having the Internet , at least I can listen to Bay Area radio even if I can not be home *sniff*.

I was watching the news this weekend, and who do I see but the man many of us put on a rock pedestal as one of the most awe inspiring guitarists of all time, Eddie Van Halen. He was talking up his new baby, the EVH Wolfgang Guitar.

Sweet isn’t it? Now I just need to be able to channel Eddie and win the lotto to afford it and I am good to go. No, I would rather just sit and listen to Eddie play. Another concert I will always want to be a part of. Eddie looked great in the piece for CNN, which I have embedded below, I can’t believe it has been over 20 years since the first time I heard him play.

It has been a few days since my last post, life is seems had some other issues it wished for me to pay attention to.
My Aunt was hurt in an accident, so she has been on my mind much. She is doing a bit better today, so I am very grateful for that.
And my “other” blog on Jericho has been a huge issue for me, with trying to get it housed on my own domain. Blogger is a great service, but switching it to GoDaddy not so great. Will work that out.

Anyway, I turned to KFOX for my daily picks today as I spent the entire day beading earrings for my Gemstone and jewelry website. I will place a link if your interested.

Choice one is Hot For Teacher from Van Halen. Who can remember how important Van Halen was to them in High School? They were a huge influence to us back in the 1980′s, rocking us each day and night with so much raw talent in Eddie, and those drums ……… yeah this song rocked. Do you remember cruising? We did each Friday and Saturday night in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara on El Camino Real , parking at the Taco Bell for our meet and eat breaks. What great nights were spend cruising back and forth. Can’t do that now what with the price of gas, you kids are missing out on a great event.

Do they even drum like this in music today? Nope, and that is one more thing gone from music……..
